Breakfast Event – On August 25, Sister Cities Yorktown will be having a free breakfast event at Riverwalk Restaurant in Yorktown at 9 AM. Brigadier General John Kline, Commanding General from Joint Base Langley – Eustis will be speaking on “The Value of International Relationships.” This is event is sure to be a popular event and registration is limited. News From Port Vendres- The 200th anniversary of the incorporation of Port Vendres will be held in 2023 and Sister Cities Yorktown has been invited to attend. We are currently standing by for more information and specific dates that will be released this summer.
Soiree en Blanc- This year’s Soiree en Blanc will be held on SEPTEMBER 28, 2022. This is an event that is held in Paris each year and other locations around the world. Everyone dresses in white and brings a meal. The location is not released until the week before, but we can say it will be in the greater Yorktown area. More information on that event will be releases as we get closer to the event.
Help Wanted – Sister Cities Yorktown is the primary non-profit for the Yorktown Wine Festival on October 1. We will received a portion of the proceeds based on the number of volunteers we bring to the event. More information will come out as we get closer but if you have a few hours to help out send us an email at contact@sistercitiesyorktown.org.
